TSUNDERE

from meGumi: a tone poem by CLOVERLINES

lyrics

I don’t know what to feel bout you, bout me
I don’t know what to feel bout you, bout me
a need to embrace from my heart
constant hesitation, my mouth
I just dunno what to feel bout you, bout us

I don’t know what to feel about you
A certain attraction undeniable
But the way you treat me is suspect
Surprisingly no alarms have gone on in my head
What is inside that brain of yours?
What is inside this messed mind of mine?
These questions, the answers I must know
But is it truly worth the risk incurred to my heart?

As we walked together by the pier
I have only managed to stutter love in fear
There are signs of life on your cheeks
But they quickly dissipate
when you think you’re being weak
What will it take to break us out
Of this defensive game we play to well
Maybe it’s just not meant to be,
and its time for me to think selfishly oh…

what is best for number one?
what is best for me, myself and I?
I’m sorry to think these infidel thoughts my love
But you are not helping at all
And these are the conclusions I’ve been given
*sigh*

You are not answering and that’s okay
I wouldn’t know what to say to me anyway
I understand why you’re silent
I guess this is my cruel punishment

My only crime is I love you
While you are toying with me mercilessly
But I assure you these feelings are true
And I can’t just make this go away

Like snap, and its gone
What kind of person do you think I am?
I want us to talk this though
Like functioning adults
Is it too much to ask?
